Mapledoodles
A tasty maple twist to the classic snickerdoodle cookie. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 16 tablespoons (227g) unsalted butter, or a combination of half butter and half vegetable shortening 
- 1 cup (156g) maple sugar 
- 1/2 cup (99g) granulated sugar 
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar 
- 1 teaspoon salt 
- 2 large eggs 
- 1/2 teaspoon maple flavor 
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 
- 2 3/4 cups (333g) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour 
Topping
- 2 tablespoons (20g) maple sugar 
- 2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar 
Maple Glaze (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups (170g) confectioners' sugar or glazing sugar 
- 2 tablespoons (39g) maple syrup 
- 2 to 3 tablespoons (43g to 57g) heavy cream 
- 1/4 teaspoon maple flavor
