Mapledoodles
A tasty maple twist to the classic snickerdoodle cookie. Enjoy!
Ingredients
16 tablespoons (227g) unsalted butter, or a combination of half butter and half vegetable shortening
1 cup (156g) maple sugar
1/2 cup (99g) granulated sugar
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon maple flavor
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 3/4 cups (333g) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
Topping
2 tablespoons (20g) maple sugar
2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar
Maple Glaze (optional)
1 1/2 cups (170g) confectioners' sugar or glazing sugar
2 tablespoons (39g) maple syrup
2 to 3 tablespoons (43g to 57g) heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon maple flavor
